Under his direction, assets grew by more than 48% per year while operating margins nearly doubled. He was also responsible for the business strategies for the organization’s broker/dealer subsidiary (with annual product sales in excess of $2 billion); as well as, the parent organization’s Trust Division.
Mr. Murphy is in his 22nd year of a broad-based financial services career. His experience includes management positions with some of the nation’s leading financial services organizations (or their predecessors) including: Chase, Bank of America, SunTrust, and AmSouth. His responsibilities have involved: strategy development and business planning in areas encompassing investments, trust and brokerage; marketing and distribution; Private Banking; and retail banking and mortgage lines of business.
